All Over Colour Alizarin is a multi-use cream colour for lips, cheeks and eyes. The shade is a deep, contemporary red with cool blue undertones. Apply it lightly for a soft stain or build the colour for a richer, more defined finish.

The concentrated formula works as a lipstick, lip stain, cream blush and eyeshadow. Its shimmer-free texture blends easily and leaves a creamy, natural-looking finish. Alizarin can be worn alone or mixed with other Manasi 7 shades to create a personalised colour.

The shade

Alizarin is a classic cool red with stronger blue undertones than Ikura. Dab a small amount onto the lips and cheeks for a fresh flush of colour. Add more layers for a statement red lip, keeping the rest of the makeup soft and balanced.

Formula and finish

The formula combines certified organic castor seed oil, sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil, shea butter and plant waxes. These ingredients give the colour its smooth, nourishing texture and help it glide comfortably across the skin and lips.

A light application creates a stain-like effect. Additional layers increase the colour payoff and produce a creamier finish. Apply All Over Shine above it for extra gloss, or gently press Silk Finish Powder Translucent over the colour for a more matte result.

How to use

Warm a small amount with your fingertip, then dab and blend onto the lips, cheeks or eyelids. The pigments are highly concentrated, so begin with very little. Repeat the application to intensify the colour. A lip brush or foundation brush can also be used for greater precision.

Good to know

Alizarin is made with organic, natural and wild-harvested ingredients. The formula is cruelty-free, gluten-free, silicone-free, nanoparticle-free, paraben-free and mineral oil-free. It contains certified organic beeswax and is therefore not vegan.

Eye-area notice: Alizarin contains CI 15850. This colour pigment is approved for use around the eyes in the European Union but is not currently approved by the US FDA for eye-area use.

This creamy and nourishing formula can be worn alone or mixed together for a custom shade.
Use the warmth of your skin's fingertips and apply sparingly and blend out. Repeat application for a more intense colour on lips or cheeks. For more shimmer or a slightly softer colour, apply the Bronzelighter or Strobelighter over any colour.
The pigments are very concentrated so a little goes a long way.
Preferred application technique – Fingertips or lip/foundation brush.
